Kirsty Lane

Kirsty has worked in the fitness industry since 1994. Based in South London and Surrey she built on her Exercise to Music qualification, qualifying her to teach a variety of classes including step, circuits, aqua, conditioning and several Les Mills Body Training Systems programmes.

Kirsty managed aerobics studios and group fitness programmes for several chains and then studied at The Raworth Centre to gain an Advanced Diploma in Sports Therapy. She joined the ambulance service in 1998, where she met Jon and they embarked on their joint Sports Injury Clinic.

Kirsty is an HPC qualified Paramedic. She is driven by her belief that fitness should be made fun and available for everyone, and that no one should be made to feel uncomfortable about working out. She loves Sports Therapy and Sports Massage because she feels that it is rewarding being able to use hand on treatments to help relieve people who are in pain.

Jon Lane
Jon Lane

Jon is an HPC registered Paramedic and has worked for the NHS for 25 years. In 1996 he did a 2 year Advanced Diploma in Sports Injury Therapy at The Raworth Centre in Dorking. Once qualified he started up a successful Sports Injury Clinic in a gym in Croydon, Surrey with his wife Kirsty, which they then expanded to include a clinic at home. Jon has now relocated his family to Blackfield and has had a purpose made clinic built onto their home.

Jon is interested in a variety of sports, but his biggest passion is football. He has worked as a Sports Therapist for Crescent Rovers FC, Netherne FC, AFC Totton and has spent some time gaining work experience at Portsmouth FC. He also provides pitch side paramedic cover at Southampton FC home games as part of South Central Ambulance Service.

Jon has a special interest in Back Care and worked closely with South East Coast Ambulance Service offering advice, ideas and producing a leaflet for staff on Back Welfare at Work.
